MetaMorphosis is a tree-based XML transformation tool that can be used to convert between SGML/XML applications, to publishing formats etc. MetaMorphosis has an architecture where several parsers and output generators are available (and more can be written in Visual Basic or C++ and plugged in).
MetaMorphosis transformations are defined in a tool-specific declarative language based on the tree structure. It supports many Unicode encodings as well as many oriental character encodings.
